The TP2200V/F 400 frequency inverter series, already a firm favourite for numerous industrial applications, has been extended to include a series of liquid-cooled inverters TP2200V/F for use in rough ambient conditions.
Liquid-cooled frequency inverters from TigerPower can be used for simple speed adjustments right through to highly dynamic servo applications with 3-phase induction motors. They offer not only the familiar benefits of the air-cooled series but also numerous advantages for reliable use in extreme conditions.
The liquid cooler of the TP2200V/F inverter series consists of an aluminium base plate that carries the power semiconductor and serves as a basic structural element. The cooling pipes are embeded in the base plate to ensure a good heat transmission and transfer of the dissipated heat to the cooling medium.Mains water with no anticorrosive additive can be used as a cooling medium since a particularly noncorroding material was chosen for the cooling pipes. The cooling pipe design also allows a variety of connection possiblilites to existing cooling systems.

Their design means that liquid-cooled frequency inverters from the TP2200V/F series can be used in both open and closed cooling circuits - including circuits with high operating pressures. They thus enable the construction of electrical cabinet installations with high IP-safety classes. The dissipated heat can hereby be carried away comfortably and reliably from the switch cabinet and possibly the switch room, so that an additional ventilation or air conditioning of noise and air currents and in many cases can help save costs and reduce the maintenance work, e.g. with respect to the familiar air filter problems.
